Please do not feel offended if you are not given a position, you will be on the list. It is impossible for us to accommodate everybody but at the same time, we need dedicated staff to make this site successful.

Me and Snat have been working hard on Nintendo Portal over the last few days. We still have a way to go but all fan sections are now working, including Fan Fiction! Also, Editorials are now up and running and await submissions.
Content restoration is still underway and eventaully aims to bring ALL Mario Portal content to this website. Some of the old fan games are already up. Art and Comics will be next, followed by some Editorials.
Please hang around the forums peps. I will be checking it out once a day. Some interesting posts at the moment. Thanks everyone.

Well some of us have been busy bees behind the scenes of Nintendo Portal this week. That's right! New content and some things are ready to go.
Firstly, you may notice that a lot of links on the left menu are now working? That's because the pages are up, hurray. Also, all fan submissions can now be sent apart from Fiction. A text system is being sorted as you read. So any games and images, send them in. Any issues then just PM me (popmanw) and I will ensure the right person is informed.
We are also proud to present the opening of the Nintendo Portal Store! The store (which you can find under Content) will allow you to buy Nintendo hardware and software from the likes of Amazon U.K. and U.S. So what are the advantages? Well, firstly we are providing links to products you maybe interested in rather than searching for them. Secondly, items are all in sections by Nintendo systems. Thirdly, Nintendo Portal earn some commission from sales to assist with server bills and new site features. Currently, only the Wii section is active.
Lets keep the forums busy people. Some interesting posts at late. I've posted a thread about Nintendo's Decisions under 16+ Discussion, check it out when you have time.
Finally, you may be aware of the TV Series we produce for the site? Well, a new 2009 series has been commissioned for Nintendo Portal and will be the biggest yet. Competitions and prizes will play a huge part to this years interactivity. The series is developed by home video specialists, Wrights Productions. Funnily enough, it is me who owns Wrights Productions! You can see the old 2006 series (based on Mario Portal) and the last 2008 series for NP by visiting the section under Media.

As you maybe aware, many changes have happened to this site since it was changed from Mario Portal to Nintendo Portal. I am just letting you know that a fair amount of work is happening over the Easter period. Reason being is that most of us are off school / college during the Easter period. Here is a list of jobs that are being worked on:
Restorting the rest of the old Mario Portal fan games
Start restoring old Mario Portal fan art
Continue making website pages and polishing already made pages
Heavy forum activity from site runners
So keep around guys. If we keep trying really hard, good will come out of it. Hope you playing your Wiis a lot and are looking into buying the latest DS, the DSi. LOL.

Bah... technically just over two hours late this time. I suck at this.
Anyway, yeah, this week's feature is a ginormous collection of sound effects taken directly from Legend of Zelda games. I've been through some of them and they seem to be fairly high quality/well cut.
Definitely worth checking out if you're planning on making a Zelda-themed game or two.

As you know, Nintendo Portal is for you lot. The whole site is for our users and unless we know what you lot think about this site, sadly we can't improve in the ways that you would like.
For this, I am asking if people can fill in the survey that is linked below
